I'll go first:

I really like 90s Metallica. Load, Reload, all that stuff is more enjoyable to me than their 80s output. I know how uncool this seems.

Which hated albums do you like?

The Clash- Sandanista. It's overstuffed to the point of being anarchic and bold. It's on the list of albums I made assumptions about based on whatever critical/fan consensus.

Nick Cave- Nocturama. I don't get the hatred from critics and fans.

Love this album, but it's certainly not consistently hated. More of a case if you would have said you liked Cut the Crap or maybe even Give 'Em Enough Rope.

Gonna say Pablo Honey. I like most of Core, too

i too like Load/Reload, not edgy enough to say i dig them more than the 80s albums tho

along the same lines, i enjoy the Blaze era of Iron Maiden quite a bit

i like a lot of We Can't Dance, but no Invisible Touch please

Depends on which clique or consensus you conceive as doing the hating, I suppose, but:

Steady Diet of Nothing.
Slavestate.
From Here to Infirmary.
Deftones' self-titled, and Saturday Night Wrist.
Sisterworld.
Bitches Brew.
Terror Twilight.

I kinda like Anahata. At least the first half or so.

Though nowhere near as good as the their first three studio albums, I like Public Image Ltd's post-Flowers of Romance albums. I think it would've been better had the Happy?-era lineup presented themselves as a new band rather than to continue to call themselves PiL, not only because Lydon was the sole original member, but because the other members had way different playing styles: John McGeoch or Lu Edmonds vs. Keith Levene, Allan Dias vs. Jah Wobble, Bruce Smith vs. Jim Walker or Martin Atkins. All very different, making it a very different band at that point. I especially like Allan Dias's bass playing and I find him to be a very underrated bass player.

I LOVE Anahata.

Sandinista is WIDELY hated, but a top 5 album for me.

I don't really like heavy metal at all, though I will concede 80s Metallica is one of the best exemplars of that genre. Stooges and AC DC (bluesy groove rock) are probably closest comparisons to 90s Metallica

The band was absolutely hated by a large segment of their fan base for making those albums.

She's probably not hated around these parts, but a large portion of normie rock fans hated Yoko Ono. Fly is brilliant.
