I would presume that if you put someone on ignore that's because you don't want to see what they're posting, nor talk to them. If you want to know what they write then remove the ignore.

Of course you are aware that you can just de-ignore this individual post if you really interested in what it's about. So what's the point of declarations like this? It's like putting them on ignore makes them take up even more of your attention.

Kinda sucks to lose Zach, who had some great musical knowledge to share. The devout religious stuff, particularly around numerology, prophecies and the borderline proselytizing could be annoying but it also occasionally challenged me to think a little outside my own mental confines. I’ve certainly lived with much more difficult online personalities thru the years and wish Zach the best and hope he reconsiders his departure.

Nice guy. Seems conflicted. I enjoyed talking to him.

Thanks for the kind words, but as I leave today I've been reminded of why I don't believe it's appropriate for me to post here anymore. Several of my posts have manifested my mental illness, and especially the one attacking Steve, I look back on and shake my head. I wasn't consciously trying to stir up shit, but part of my condition is that I read too much into stuff and get paranoid that people are out to get me.

I want to make it clear that there was never any basis to that shit. When you tap words into a smart phone it's easy to forget that there are human beings on the other side and it's not appropriate to make them endure your own self indulgent ramblings.

Multiple people have said they left the forum because of that, and it's easy to forget that this isn't just a playpen. It's also a source of livelihood for Steve and the other EA employees and we should be respectful of that fact.

So thank you but I encourage everyone to come back and participate. I've learned from many of your posts and I want to thank you for that. I may lurk from time to time but my time posting here is over.

As someone who has left the forum before and then almost immediately regretted it, I recommend you don't ask for your account to be deleted. If you do, everything you ever posted here goes bye-bye.

If you wanna take a break or you wanna be done, just don't log back in.
