If I had children referring to me as such there'd be boxed ears and soapy mouths.

waffles for jokesters and sarcasm

Different context, I suppose, but my brother and I have been calling each other this for about thirty years. No way to change it now

I've never personally used that one, and have seemed to be called it by douche-bros, mostly. I don't have a biological brother.

When It started appearing maybe 15-20 years ago, I couldn't stand it. Especially when I encountered people who were non-native English speakers using it...now I'm very whatevs

What's worse is the new pronunciation: "Bruh!".

My 7 year old daughter was allowed too much time watching some idiotic YouTuber and once interjected/referred to me as "bruh" when she was exasperated. It was equal measures hilarious and infuriating.

Voted CRAP.

Can be appropriate/funny in very specific instances, usually involving humorous/sarcastic situations, but can otherwise be fine not existing anymore.

Johnny Knoxville is allowed to use it.

Not crap!

Like calling others bro (men and women). Like being called bro. Bro is a funny word, being a bro is good.

The only contexts I ever hear bro used is sarcasm or when someone is making a threat.

If I enjoy using it as a pejorative, how should I vote?

Examples:

- Making fun of bro-core bands like Helmet by calling them a bro-core band. I enjoy this a lot.

- Making fun of tech-bros by referring to them tech-bros. I enjoy this also.

Okay so I am going to vote not crap. I like the noun. I dislike its various referents.

‘Bros’ = not crap.

Bros = crap.
