Spiderland by a Kentucky mile. No disrespect for Tweez.

Tweez has some cool stuff on it, but Spiderland wins this.

Tweez is more consistent. Nothing on it detracts. I kinda like the metallic bits, too.
But Spiderland is the better record, despite my thinking that one song on it is lousy and another is somewhat boring. The rest is just so insanely good, though. That whole A side plus "Good Morning, Captain" remain timeless, despite lesser bands imitating that stuff to death.

Tweez has moments of being interesting, but it's not very good. A confused and tediously jarring record.
Spiderland is a masterpiece.

Yeah, it's kind of the sweet spot. You get all sides of the band musically, and they were at their core an instrumental band.
But Spiderland for the poll. The chorus metal vibes of Tweez sound pretty dated.

LOLZ for real, cuz you're absolutely right. I don't think I've ever read a more accurate two word review of a record.
IMO it's still the more interesting record.
20 years ago I would have said Spiderland.
