All the records up through Powerslave were bangers, but which one is king? I think Piece of Mind was the most consistent, but I could have gone with Killers.

Killers me thinks. Before they went full metal.

Nicko McBrain's drumming fucked me up in high school. I felt like I would never be a proper drummer if I couldn't get right "Flash of the Blade" or "Aces High" or "The Trooper" or "The Prisoner" or any Maiden song, really. Great, great drummer.
Tough choice but I'm going with TNOTB with Powerslave a very close second.

Powerslave, but Live After Death is the best of all worlds. Tour van staple.

I’m going to say Powerslave, but I know I’ve spent more time with Killers. I love them all, and my favorite depends on my mood. What a great run of records.

All are perfect. "Piece of Mind" has my cancer theme "Die with your boots on" so it gets my vote.

Can't go wrong with any of them but I'm gonna say NOTB cause it was a formative record freshman year of high school, just before discovering Metallica.
But really it's Live After Death by a mile, what a great record, still play it regularly.
If you haven't watched Flight 666 yet, I can't recommend it enough. They sound great, they're playing even better than back in the day, Nicko is incredible.
