Re: Artist: Björk
2Not Crap. She's brilliant.
We're also distantly related, which is an odd one.

4Not crap, even when see drops something “not for me”.
I sold her a pair of blue and orange adidas shoes once.

5No, just the odd cousin. I still have a fair chunk of family out there but it's a bit awkward. They're great and all but it's the very much estranged old man's side.seby wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2024 5:31 am Seriously?! Awesome! Have you met?

6I love her. The last several albums haven't clicked with me, but in that way where I set them aside and figure I'll get it one day. But Debut through Medulla, those are incredible albums.
Re: Artist: Björk
7Not crap. Wish she had acted more. Vespertine is in my top ten.

Re: Artist: Björk
9She's one of those artists who I don't like much of their material, but I respect them for doing their own thing, following their own muse to wherever it leads them.
Also, I saw her live at a festival once, and her voice was a powerhouse, it really impressed me.
Not crap.

"Whatever happened to that album?"
"I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall and it like, shattered."

Re: Artist: Björk
10Yeah, I don't know or like everything but I do find it difficult to vote crap. She does get a big time not crap for "Big Time Sensuality." That song still knocks - to be clear the album version and not the one where she's all giddy on a flatbed but that one's good too. I'm just a simple man who loves a good house jam.
EDIT: I'm also tickled that her bandmate in the Sugarcubes was Sigtryggur Baldursson from the almighty Þeyr. Band fuckin rocks.
