Yep. I suppose when Damon Che just up and walks out on one of your shows, you have to make do with whatever you can get.

The new album, titled "Small Stones," will be released worldwide on September 6. Steve Albini recorded it in a pseudo-studio in Austin, TX. John Golden mastered it in a genuine mastering studio in Ventura, CA. A full US tour with Mono (Japan) will follow from September 15 through October 15.

Yes! Bellini are great, indeed!
and yes, half of them are from Sicily... does Uzeda sound familiar to you?
Agostino and Giovanna (guitarist and singer) are Uzeda's orginal members.
I'm lookin forward to listening to the new album.

Is that really what happened? I've read things about a "messy split" with Damon Che or some such shit, but I never actually heard what happened.

I had their first record for awhile. I couldn't really get into it though. Still excited to hear the new one. They're playing here sometime soon, too, I think...

I really loved that first record, I listened to it incessantly the first few months after it came out. It's really exciting that a new one is coming out. There's also supposed to be a seven inch coming soon, right?

Go to http://www.monitorrecords.com/FORTRESS-downloads.html, scroll down, and click on the boom box. Then scroll down to Bellini and download the .mp3 from Snowing Sun.
