Is there anyone around here who's seen Nile this tour?
I will be going in a few weeks to their last show before Europe, and I was just looking for any comments.
Also any regarding the new release.

Once again I must disagree. I really don't like Nile all that much. They are not terrible mind you and I have never seen them live but... No Nile. How about some Cephalic Carnage?

Oh no no no, my friend. I am not #1 fan girl for the Nile.
However, show some respect! Ya' gotta go see these guys - they are like founding fathers or some shit. It is always a good rock show. Trust me. Have I yet led you astray?
Of course, the verdict is still out....

Cephalic Carnage slayed/melted the Troc at the Relapse fest a few years back.

I would love to see Nile but they are not coming close enough for me to be able to check them out. Mastodon and Cult Of Luna are coming very soon and I am very happy about that.

i have a cephalic carnage shirt with an elaborate, full-color drawing of a girl fucking a dog. somebody was bored in study hall that afternoon. i often wonder why i own this shirt, and then i look at it.

Hey i saw Nile a few weeks back, it was an awesome gig. Plus they played in a teensy tiny pub in my home town of Leeds,

i have not seen them this tour, but... a few years back i met them on ferry across the english channel. one of the Nilers said "Hey, I am cheif from Nile" and he gave me one of those handshakes that romans used. the mid-forearm handshake. he stopped to talk to me because i was wearing a Neurosis shirt and was with a bunch of haggered looking musicians.

later i found out that they were touring with The Haunted, which meant that the former singer of At The Gates was on that same ferry. i have cursed myself ever since for not seeking him out. i am such a fuck.

My car broke down 1/2 way to Tampa on Saturday.
I did NOT get to see Nile.

I did get a consolation prize however...........
