When a sticker on the cover of a cd tells me that
there is a SECRET HIDDEN BONUS TRACK on said cd.
it is neither secret,hidden nor a bonus.
Those record companies are a wacky lot.
oddly enough this really only tends to be the case with major label crap.
The smaller more indendent minded band just throws it on there and
assumes that you will actually listen to the peice of plastic you just
purchased all the way through.
I work in a record store and come across this conundrum alot.
And i just think it's stupid. It shows what contempt the record companies feel toward the record buying public.
oh well, discuss/ rant?

I think it'd be funny to plaster those stickers all over cds that do not, in fact, have any bonus secret hidden material on them. Where can we get a roll of these stickers?

I really enjoy the bonus tracks that are hidden in the countdown to the first track. I didn't discover the one on Melt-Banana's "Charlie" for many years.

there's this Pat Metheny guitar noise album that came with a little sticker that read:

"Album of the Year"
-Thurstin Moore (Sonic Youth).

It would be really cool to get our hands on roll of THOSE stickers and put them on individually packaged blank CDRs!!!

IT'S NOT HIDDEN IF IT'S AFTER THE LAST SONG AFTER MINUTES OF SILENCE!
excuse me for yellin' but i'm so annoyed by these tracks after the last song... and usually they suck.
i respect it if you put it before the first song because then it doesn't affect my listening...
...but with the stickers... it's plain dumb... it's just the same as putting "limited edition coloured vinyl" or some other "oooh look how special is this, this will be collector's item soon..." stuff
just listen to music... please... thank you.

Better yet, stick them all over Billy Corgan's creepy looking birth marks.

haaaaaaaaaa!! you could cover the whole album cover with them, cause the more i look at it, the worse it gets.
