lookin to gear up for summer golf season... what's a good joint in or near the city to go hit a couple buckets o' balls?

The Bourne. I think its in Seneca or something. Ottawa?...

Its the most beautiful course in Illinois. Don't go there looking to play well. Better bring a whole bucket.

I started playing golf two weeks ago....just had my second lesson last week end. Still six lessons to come. Yeah!!!!!
And I'm loving it!!!
I didn't expect to be that fun and enjoyable to play.

I have down the road from me a lovely 18 hole pitch and putt course.

I never played golf before about 3 years ago when I first started visiting it and find it most enjoyable and quite relaxing apart from when it all goes wrong and the temptation to throw the club rather than hit the ball is far too tempting.

Its tucked away in a little country park and it feels like you're miles away from the concrete dwellings that surround me.

I fear a real job now as I won't be able to go as much as I can now.

I usually go to Jackson Park.

The sun's always shining at Jackson Park, they've got a driving range, and it's relatively cheap.

Now that I live in the neighborhood I'll be able to take advantage of twilight rates.

not sure what that means. i have all nike golf gear so i don’t have a problem with any course’s “dress codeâ€

I have to say the rates seem fair though. My round Sunday was $65.
