The tribute album is the only piece of crap with a Ramones stamp on it.

(Rob Zombie does his rendition of Blitzkreig Bop, Bono? Anthony Kedis? Come on!! :x )

I'm going to catch the wrath here, but CRAP. Boring. Ho hum. Fun to play, though.

The Ramones.....okay, I get the point but the majority I've heard is just fast '50's style songs.

There's definitely two schools of barre chord punk - one is Ramones, the other is Pistols. I like the Pistols.

Ramones = CRAP

You seem to say this as if it's a bad thing.

The song "today your love, tomorrow the world" ALONE makes this one a no-brainer, folks.

Not unlike AC/DC, they have one song but it's a good one. They played it well and had a good run.

Ok, seriously...
I'd like to remind you of this quote in regards to Mr Bungle (whew, that is a difficult name to even write.)

"There's kind of a sunny LA feel but with these bizarre tonalities and abrupt changes. They pull it off live, too. Their encore of "Everybody's Workin' For The Weekend" was spot-on."

The Ramones-- certainly not crap.
Dylan, Dylan, Dylan embrace the rock. Let go of the process.

I like a good, mutually respectful marriage of rock and process.
