1. Just how many labels are there called 'Fortissimo Records'? A bunch. At least. Which one are you and why did you not Google the name before you settled on 'Fortissimo Records'?

2. 'Britain's best band'. Ok then.

Have you seen That Fucking Tank? Andy's baritone-fucking alone justifies that epithet.

Will try hardest to attend this thing. Many thanks, Fortissimo!

No, I must admit that I haven't.

I am prepared to eat my words if I can find a way to hear them...the band, not my words.

The Street Fighter theme pleases me; calling a band Dark Hadou assures their excellence.

"That Fucking Tank" isn't as good a name as "Giant Tank".

Ditto, definitely worth seeing - and the split 7" with Grabba Grabba Tape is worth three quid of anyone's money. Unfortunately the baritone was held together with gaffa tape at the Fenton last week - the whole thing just seemed to collapse when he hit the first chord and he spent half the set patching it up.

It's not a very good name at all; the 'fucking' thing only really works once in a life-time...The Champs got there first this time.

From the photo I saw it looks like a Danelectro which (if I am not mistaken) are largely constructed of hard-board (fibre-board for the yanks?). I'd guess they wouldn't take much abuse before they die.

Yeah - they're actually the rhythm section from another band - Kill Yourself - which is a better name, but the music more than makes up for it. Also - they'll play in your house if you ask. Really.

My daughter might dig that; maybe I'll mail 'em...
