i fear that by introducing myself to this board by way of my sorta militant wacko ideas abouf filesharing, i may have given you the wrong impression.

i'll tell ya a little about myself. I'm from las vegas, went to college in colorado and have lived in chicago since then. I'm a freelance sound guy, a frelance writer, a horrible typist, a bicycle advocate, and a gemini.

so anyhow.. i've been posting a lot becasue i'm not working this week cuz i am a) sick, and b) i'm heading to vegas tomorrow night to see some family and c) i've also been housebound waiting for FedEx to deliver some furniture. which doubly sucks considering how perfect the waether has been this week.

anyhow... just wanted to say hi

university of northern colorado.

tiny liberal arts school in greeley, bout an hour north of denver.

I originally went on for the theatre program, cuz they threw money at me, but then i switched to sound design and technology. didn't learn a whole lot, not a fantastic program, but it got me a degree and then i got some internships and shit when i first moved here that were more helpful educationally.

i was driving my girlfriend to work in the loop. we overslept that morning and got to the car and put on Howard Stern (as we usually did in the morning) and honestly for about 5 minutes, we though it was some really tasteless stern skit... and then about halfway down lakeshore, when we were the only car inbound on LSD at 9:30 on a tuesday morning... we had this awful moment of "holy fuck this is real"....

nah i was a theatre and music geek. I still thought i was an actor back then, and i had a part time job clerking at the local indie record store and was an overnight DJ at the college radio station. Its only in the past few years that my inner jock has begun to rear its ugly head. mostly in the form of biking and weight training.

i tried to get in on yalls softball game, but was met with indifference. even though- as a leftie batter -i think i could be at least mildly advantageous to you.

i see.

my mom moved out there after i graduated cuz she liked it so much, so i still go back pretty regularly. Shes currently in Ft. Collins, but is moving to Denver (Parker, i guess) soon.
