I figured that since we have one Fridge spin-off, Four Tet, being voted on, we should have the other.
Adem is the bass player from Fridge and for his album he went in the folk direction.
Beautiful songs.
His voice reminds me of someone's but I just can't place it.

Look at my sense of obligation!
I listened to the "Homesongs" record, and those are pretty damn fine "homesongs", and quite demanding. I really like the song "Pillow".
I think, though, for the moment, I prefer Four Tet.
I should now listen to that band "Fridge". Should be a hell of a mothership.
Angriest_Dragon, do you know the man Even Johansen aka "Magnet"? He is from Bergen, Norway, where I had the pleasure of meeting him, in February. I didn't know his music but a friend of his gave me a cd and I think it's very special.
I'm thinking you will like it too.

I ran sound for Adem during SXSW this year. I had never heard a note of his music beforehand, and now I'm a pretty big fan.
