NOT CRAP at all, in fact I was listening to 36 chambers just yesterday at work. This totally takes me back to the summer of '93. This and The Chronic were where it was at then for me. The summer after that, I picked up guitar. And the rap days were over. Mostly.

three of the five or six rap albums i own are by this group and it's off-shoots. i was just listening to liquid swords by the genius/gza the other day and there's some awesome shit on that album. in fact, the production on all those early wu-tang records sounds amazing to me. the rapping is pretty fucking cool too. NOT CRAP. i love it.

the past week or so i haven't been able to listen to anything other than wu tang (aside from madvillain, but MF is collaborating with Ghostface soon, so he counts as wu family)
36 Chambers is Ill as fuck.
gravediggaz is awesome
liquid swords is classic
so is Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
i have also been listening to the only-slightly-less-excellent wu albums such as ghostface killa's supreme clientelle & ironman, and the ol' dirty bastard's return to the 36 chambers.
