Jesu is amazing. If you liked GodFlesh, you will be into the new stuff. I don't know how well it will translate live though.

Jucifer has that heavy, down-tuned thing, but the songs are not quite as epic.

Growing is pretty good from the couple of songs I've heard. Southern Lord has a shit load of good stuff if you haven't them out yet.

What you're looking for can generally be called Doom Metal, although you seem to have the good sense to reference the good stuff. Two hearty recommendations -

1. Corrupted - Paso Inferior is their best. 45 minute song, real slow, mega riff. This is hard to find but very worth it. They are legend.

2. Electric Wizard - Dopethrone is my favorite. Lots of head nodding riffs throughout, including a rebuilid of the Iron Man riff that beats the original.

If you get into that stuff, drop a note and I'll sift out some more for you.

Vatluggen's thoughts are good as well. Look out for Khanate - they are very bleak stuff.

That record is a must have for anyone that likes heavy goodness.
Witchcraft is good as well. Swedes that sound like Sabbath. they literally sound just like Sabbath. Right done to the recording quality.
