I propose a new Electrical game. It's fun for the whole family.

The name of the game:
Define This Band (feel free to suggest alternatives)

How to play:
Post a picture of a band (hopefully unknown by the board members) and the participants will make assumptions of the band based solely on the picture.

The rules:
1. Define the band name
2. Define the band members; name and instrument (e.g., Mitchell "Sasquatch" Johannson - bass, backing vocals)
3. Define the genre
4. Other (favorite song, discography, how they broke up, which member died in the helicopter accident, sexual preference, time period, studio techniques, merch table items, etc.)

Tigerblade

Their sound has been described as 'balls out' southern hard rock, with a bit of a latin flavor. Have been compared to Santana, Molly Hatchet, Allman Brothers.

First record 'Tornado Rockers' released June 1974. A commercial failure, but praised by critics it garnered them interest from several important musical figures of the day. At the time Joe Perry of Aerosmith called them 'The greatest band on earth' and has consistantly cited 'wildman' wilson alverez as his favorite guitarist. None other than Frank Zappa took the band under his wing, using them as an opening act for his 1975 world tour.
Their second record 'Whiskey Brothers' produced by Zappa scored them their first and only top ten hit 'My Candy Girl'. A successful world tour followed culminating in a headlining appearance in front of 100,000 fans at brentford raceway in their home state of texas for the annual 'Texas Jam' concert. While recording their third album, lead singer Chico Saplingo was stabbed to death outside his apartment by a deranged ex girlfriend. The band decided to finish the record using recordings made by Chico before his death. 'Tribute to The Sap' was released in april 1977, to little notice. The band parted ways soon after.
All the members of Tigerblade remain friends, and all remain active in the music industry. Drummer Sir Adrianne Dewberry has recorded and toured with Ringo Starr, Gregg Allman and others.
Bassist Tony North owns and operates a recording studio in San Francisco 'Tigersound Studios' and is best known for his production work on The Dave Matthews Band's early records.
'Wildman' Wilson Alverez recently released his 7th solo record 'Wild Again' and tours regularly.
Mike Sampson found fame in the early 80's new wave scene as a member of 'Fontanna' who's 1982 hit 'Sleeping Robots' is one of the top ten selling singles of all time. A recent cover 'Sleeping Robots' by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins has lead to talks of a 'Fontanna' reunion tour sometime this year.

Regarding Henry. Folk with a "cool" edge. They even got the Kurt Cobain of violin players onboard to appeal to the youngsters.

They'll never record an album. They played a wedding once and the bride cried and locked herself in the toilets for 40 minutes.

Colin, in the red shirt, once went to prison for bludgeoning a man to death with a backgammon board after a particularly heated game. He doesnt like to talk about it.

Although only two of them play the fiddle, three of them are known "fiddlers".

Mendocino's own F.I.L.M. (Fiddlers Interested in Legalizing Marijuana).

A staple of the fair, bar, and canibus club circuits throughout Mendo (as the yocals call it) and Humboldt county in Northern California.

F.I.L.M. doesn't record. They believe in a total "live" experience. F.I.L.M. can't be captured on tape, they must be captured in spirit. The only requirements for attending a F.I.L.M. gig are, 1) leave your shoes at the door, 2) puff, puff, pass, 3) make yourself vulnerable.

The "F.I.L.M. sound" is best described as [from their one sheet] "post-colonial reggae roots uprock oral tradition folk soul." F.I.L.M. doesn't believe in limiting themselves, and have recently adapted younger songs into their playlist, which by the way, is never scripted -- simply devined. Given the current fascination with hip-hop, the band has F.I.L.M.-aphized "I Wanna Get Blunted, My Brother", "Puffin' On La", and "The Chronic".

F.I.L.M. is playing every day this week at 4:20 in the parking lot of Los Bagels in Arcata, California, as part of the Bagelize It Festival. Come in, the water's fine!

I can't believe this game isn't a huge hit. I would have signed this game to a 3 record deal and talked it up to everyone who would listen. I was sure about this one. I still have hope. maybe it just needs a new spin,a new look, some pepper on the high hat or something.
