What's the first show you ever went to?

Mine would be Ozzy and Metallica at Alpine Valley.

Dr. Hook at Six Flags. Dallas, 1976 i think. first show i went to in a club as I got older and started liking music more, the Feelies in Savannah, GA at Night Flight. blew my young mind.

I saw Metallica supporting Ozzy back at the Aragon Ballroom in 86. Awesome show. Cliff Burton. End of chat.

My first show had to be, uh...Kiss with W.A.S.P. supporting. We got stoned in the woods beforehand.

First I'm not totally embarrased to admit:
Kiss, Great White, and Trixter in Sioux Falls, SD in 92.

Tortoise, and Isotope 217 @ First Ave. in 98

I like that, ok...what's the first overall show and the first 'real' show you went to?

My first overall was the Ozzy/Metallica my first 'real' show was a thrash band called Anacrusis at the thirsty whale

SWANS w/ Rex @ Tipitina's in New Orleans, LA. I was 17. I totally snuck in...

First show that "fucking blew my mind and changed my life forever":

Afghan Whigs @ The Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans, LA. I was 19.
