I don't think so.

I think that's how all men's footwear should be judged. If you can't picture Todd Trainer in them, they are ugly.

Coincidentally, I JUST got off the phone with Bill Skibbe and I had mentioned that I have my first session in Electrical's Studio B coming up soon. He said something like, "Lots of stairs. Wear your best shoes."

I might just have to find an REI before that session...

This is probably sound advice for men's clothes in general, really.

i know that clothes look good if i CAN imagine todd wearing them,

AND

i know clothes are right FOR ME if i CAN'T imagine todd wearing them.

i LOVE my "brooklyn mid" keens.

I have the Newport H2 for kayaking/water sports, bought on sale for $30 (!). It is a marvelous shoe, though I would have bought the Salomon Tech Amphibian shoe instead if it had been on sale at the time.

However, on the keen front page, they show someone wearing this Newport H2 amphibious shoe WITH SOCKS.

Don't do this. Don't hurt America.

these look like they could rival new balance for comfort , but all the ones i could find looked either leather or suede. damn..
