Copper Blue is one of the most 'stereo' records Ive ever heard. Most things are double tracked and panned hard left and right to spread out the sound, especially the vocals. I suppose in the 90's it was common to go for the biggest sound you could possibly achieve.
I reckon it'd be worth a bid then. Id imagine it would have a fairly dirty sound, would probably be good for saturated vocals, if the right thing came along.
you need to chop it up, and pull your voice down, and the other guys voice up. Id use something like nuendo or cubase, where you can chop and just drag the volume up or down.
Then you need to reduce the noise floor, you need something you can listen to / preview in real time, something like cool ...
Teisco are better known for making guitars. They were branded under lots of different names. Kay, top twenty, sattelite. 60s/70/s era. Jack white uses a teisco sometimes. I have a delay unit made by teisco, its all knobs, and pretty tactile, sounds wicked.
