Just popped in an old cassette yesterday and remembered that old synth sounding noise at the end. A bunch of old cassette tapes had it. Anybody know what it is and was was it for?

I've heard all of the bashing of 888's.....i was wondering, I have a Apogee AD-8000 and a 888 slaved to it. Does being slaved to the better converter improve the 888's quality at all? An engineer told me this but I don't understand how.

bass drum sounds perfect for the music...very metal!
to be honest...the snare sounds a little ...idk dry i guess. other than the snare...thums up.

I know exactly what you mean. The snare and guitars are my worst part of the mix IMO. I couldn't get the snare to sound half decent without ...
