i have seen the black lips more times than i can remember and their live show is always awesome. i remember when they set fire to the 40 watt...that was pretty fucking cool

if hot snakes were 12 and started a band called retarded against the machine...it would sound just like Be Your Own Pet. i saw them open for Sonic Youth in ATL and i t ALMOST ruined sonic youth for me because i was so insulted by that band
