Crap or Not Crap.

All I have a split 45 with them and The Dirtbombs, and I like it.

Said it in another thread, but the lips are the best live band going.

Their latest from ITR, Let It Bloom, is a great record.

"Boomerang" and "Dirty Hands" are favorites.

It's increasingly rare for me to have heard or seen the 'smaller' bands that come up here. But I know this one!

dabrasha and I discussed them (or rather dabrasha learned me about them) on the dirtbombs thread.

I still only have their 2nd album but I really like a bunch of it (though there is some throw-away goofiness and a couple overly generic songs). Great hot weather music from Georgia. Been thinking about ordering the latest.

Great live show, I agree, but 'best going' is not accurate of the show I was at.

I thought they were pretty okay when I saw them open for the Dirtbombs, but most of the time I think I'd rather listen to Q'65.

dirty hands is a great song, and so funny... one of hte few songs i've ever heard that had me laughing

They are indeed from Georgia - Atlanta to be precise.

Definately one of the best live bands going and I get to see them again tommorrow night.

i have seen the black lips more times than i can remember and their live show is always awesome. i remember when they set fire to the 40 watt...that was pretty fucking cool
