So go ahead and make your call to Billy Beane, Angus Jung, and get back to me.

Ever since I told Billy I didn't want to go see the Offspring with him, he hasn't been returning my calls.

Maybe the two of you can make up the next time the Red Sox are in town. The two of you could go see Theo Epstein, Bronson Arroyo and Barry Zito "jam" together at some brewpub. Maybe Peter Gammons will get onstage as well.

If Bud Selig wants to have a dramatic impact on the game of baseball and secure a positive legacy for his administration, then he should ignore the steroids issue, competitive imbalance, stadium deals and other minutiae. Rather, Selig should focus his attention upon the immediate passage of legislation that would prevent baseball professionals, whether they be players, front office staff or reporters, from playing or discussing popular music.

I wish there was some way that I could agree with you more.

But I couldn't.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I also could not agree with you more, although I imagine the players, staff, reporters, etc feel the same way about musicians discussing baseball.

Has anyone heard the aforementioned baseball project bands?

Thankfully, I am not a musician. I am a drummer.

Anyway, I'd be happy to talk baseball with pretty much anyone on this planet.

Please enjoy this version of "Dust In The Wind" as performed by Bernie Williams of the New York Yankees.

Fuck.
Placido Polanco, Dye, and Hafner doomed my fantasy team this week. I'm one more injury from shitting the bed.
