He's messing around. He just means that nobody cares whether or not you speak perfect English, and thus, "nobody gives the shit". However, to say that slang term properly, you would say, "Nobody gives a shit whether or not you use perfect English."

Jumping on somebody because he's new to a message board and asks a question is a very lame part of "internet culture," and one I would like this site to remain above.

I get asked about "In Utero" a lot, and there really isn't any reason to answer one-off questions about it, as so much has been said. I don't know what bootleg he's listening to, so I can't answer his question, and as much as people might associate me with that particular album, it was one of many I did that year, and I haven't followed up on its trivia.

This forum will occasionally attract people who aren't really interested in the discussion, but don't know who else to ask their question of, and I'm uncomfortable personalizing this as stupidity.

I have one of these bootlegs. It sounds like flushing toilet degeneration. I'm sure there are many of these bootlegs. If I could, I'd listen to them all.

Your association with that record only suggests that there might be a version that sounds better.

I think In Utero's pretty good. It'd be nice to hear it the first time, that's all.

ok, i won't ask anymore about pitch-up or pitch-down, not in this forum. i only want you to know that this albini mix i downloaded, imho, is better than the final mix, and my idea is that the final version is down-pitched. an example? heart shaped box: in the albini mix i hear a perfect A string. in the final version a very strange Ab. (the BPM is obviously lower, i misured it with acid pro)
