the best shoes i had were these $11 white shoes from walmart. they lasted so long and stayed so comfortable for so long. walmart's the devil, agreed. but these shoes? the shit.

got some keens today. my arches are writing sonnets now. so much better than my old skate shoes & even better than my dorkwad new balances....

I picked up these classics at rogans shoes for $50. I'm replacing my three year old gazelles.

Those shoes are classic for me. At the beginning of last summer, I bought my 5th pair.
When they're 1 year old, they look like the best shoes ever and they're really comfortable.

Born shoes would be great if they didn't have those stitched insoles in all of the women's models. There's layers of stitched leather, and the stitches are situated right under the ball of my foot and the heel, causing massive blisters.

I have enough problems with shoes rubbing under my ankle bones to endure shoes that irritate the bottoms of my feet as well.

Which is too bad, because there always seem to be cheap-o Borns at DSW.

Now that it's finally below 80 degrees in NYC, I can once again wear my Merrills. Now those are some boss shoes.

I've nedded a pair of shoes for a while, my three pair are all falling apart simultaneously. On my way into work to master some thrash music I stopped at REI. I remembered this thread and tried on a pair of the Bronx shoes.

I'll be damned, they're incredibly comfy. Soft without being too cushiony. They are a bit bulbous, and I can't wear them with toe clips, but mainly they're just nice and cozy.

Then I went to work and mastered a band called "Knucklescraper". They weren't very cozy.
