I highly recomend this thing... it sounds like a rhino snarling, I just wish I had the cash for one... there a bit much but worth every penny... totally sick fuzz/noise

For my amp is giving birth sounds, this can't be beat, especially with an octave down pedal(I recommend the Blue Box) in the feedback loop.

I love my Fuzz Factory, but I'm of the opinion that the Effector TBD has better destructive fuzz tones, whereas the FF is better for Nintendo/fucked up children's music tones. Luckily, I can achieve destructive fuzz and my amp is hungry tones using the FF and the Electro Harmonix Microsynth in addition to the weird Mexican puppet show on Nickleodeon theme music tones with just the FF.

I have a reissue Fender Blender they sound great, though I warn you wanting one, they are the most redundant fuzz you can buy, and only suitiable for noise heads, the octave effect is more like a ring modulator and even with the sustain on 1 you cant make out the notes from chords.

I adore it, but I play in a band where note definition isnt a problem.

my set up goes

Turbo Rat
MXR Blue Box
Fender Blender
Russian Big Muff

I think the russian ones (sovtek) sound different, a tad more fuzz-metal and less squarewave fu-manchu-y

if you're after crazy the Blue Box and the Blender are great, but if you want a more versatile pedal that still has meat I'd go for a Rat or a Big Muff as others have said.

My opinion, owning an original and having played the reissue in comparison, is that the reissued Fender Blenders are crap.

It's really hard to explain, but they just lack complexity. The sound from the originals seems three-dimensional whereas the reissue is just another box that makes your guitar sound Pro Tools-ish and thin.

I've never played a vintage, but mine can do thick and meaty. then unlike my other pedals I dont have the tone all the way up. would love a original though.

I would love some sort of 'expression pedal' adaption for it. Sweeping the stability while playing is lotsa' fun.

I recently bought one of these.

The design is pretty dumb (read the Harmony Central reviews of it for further explanation), but it will perform an expression pedal function on your Fuzz Factory.
