Voiello is great for spaghetti, even better than De Cecco.
De Cecco is perfect for fusilli.
Barilla for pretty much everything else: rigatoni, maccheroni, conchigliette and so on.

22San Giorgio or Barilla for me. DeCecco and Ronzoni are decent, but overall are not as good as the former two brands. The type of pasta is also a factor too.

23I'm surprised nobody mentioned this, but DaVinci? How about DaVinci?
If no DaVinci is available, I sometimes go for Barilla, just because an Italian friend of mine, Fulvio, always told me that, as an Italian away from home, Barilla will get you by.
(before he told be that, I always thought that Barilla was one of the shittiest "good" brands of pasta).
I still sort of do, much as I would like to believe Fulvio. Cognitive dissonance.
