Howard Stern s last terrestrial broadcast.......

The people who have never had a really hard ass nasty job that sucks the very life out of you, the life giving qualities of this Howard Stern show is not for you to understand.
If you have a job where your hands are not filthy and cut up at the end of the day, you will never understand the glory of such a radio program existing.
Just go to work in your office or whatever and gossip with the rest of the ladies.

Howard Stern is a genius and a true American hero in many ways. He has reinforced the power of the American Dream. I look forward to when his show is on DirectTV uncensored. And I couldn’t agree more that if you have a shitty job that you can’t stand but can’t quit either, Stern makes it so much more bearable.

My Favorite Stern Moments:
-Anything with Beetlejuice
-Pam Anderson
-RoboSpanker
-Stripper Jeapordy
-Artie
-Howard making fun of Baba Booey

Long live Howard Stern and freedom of speech!

I may not have a job punching holes through the skulls of Donkeys with my bare hands, such as mr. soup here, but I agree that the shitty drive to my shitty job is made significantly better because of Mr. Stern. I used to have to drive some 1 hour and a half to work every morning some years ago, and after getting tired of just listening to music, I started to listen to his show despite thinking it was dumb. After a few months, I really get into it in a weird way. You sort of get to know these people. It’s hit or miss for many, but when the show works, it really works well. Most people who are sort of down on him, I find have never really listened to it.

But I don’t proclaim that it is everyone’s cup of tea, or any sort of superiority for enjoying it. But I do respect the man and what he has done, and that’s taking dumb shit seriously. He really is an antidote for pretense, even if it’s thick headed and a wee nip too indelicate at times.

I have a Sirius radio. It was a birthday present, sure, but I am glad that I have it. And I am looking forward to this, uncensored Stern.

Oh, and F Jackie.

Swede,
It would be terrible of you to record a stream off of your Sirius radio and post it as an mp3 on the gmail account.

The world could very-well come to a fiery end!! Be careful.

For as long as I have listened to the radio I have listened to Howard when possible. The morning drives to middle school and high school, drives home from college on breaks, long road trips... I wouldn't call him an American hero, but he is certainly a champion of the first amendment. I can understand people who argue his moving to sirius is actually a big LOSS for freedom of speech, but I don't agree.

I've got Sirius because I got a password to stream it on the internet. I'll be listening often to his show, to see what he's got up his sleeve.

By far the coolest thing I've heard at this point is, on his second station (they gave him two stations, one of his show and one for content that is in the same vein as his, which I think he oversees), there's an overnight show called "Tissue Time" where the host has phone sex with the callers. Fucking brilliant.
