Mr. Show wouldn't work on basic cable, but if there were a petition to have The State reunite and replace SNL, I'd fucking sign it.

yeah, you're definitely right.

i would've explained my point of view right away but busy work = less time to elaborate.

I do this as well, and strangely this season of SNL has been doing a pretty good job of making me laugh. Even Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are more vicious than I remember them being in recent years. I hesitate to say it, but SNL may actually be on the way to being worthwhile again.

This skit was probably the funniest thing they've done in the last 5-10 years. "Google Maps is the best! True that: double true" nearly sent me off the couch laughing.

These guys get a hearty salut! for making SNL watchable again. I hope this trend continues.

check out MC Paul Barman, he's much better.

I saw Barman in Madison once and can honestly say he was blown off the stage by then-16-year-old Milwaukee nerdy white hip-hop wunderkind Juiceboxxx. Barman's got cool unique flow, and his tunes are occasionally hilarious, but live he just looks bored.

That cupcake place they go to in the video really is fantastic. They're so rich though that after two you're on the verge of vomiting. I'd love to see even a hardcore stoner share a baker's dozen and survive.

You guys should check it out next time you're in NYC. It's at the corner of Bleeker and 10th Street. After this video, it'll probably get a lot more crowded than it's already been.
