hey,
my future husband is allergic to cats. i have two that need new places to live, and my friends can't take them. i love my cats, but i have to let them go (free of charge, of course).
cat #1: 8 year-old male, black and white shorthaired, very affectionate and sweet, looks like a negative of pip. he will sleep on top of you and keep you warm. he will meow a lot and talk to you. he likes to chase things that are disappearing around the corner. you will love him, everybody does.
cat #2: 4 year-old male, silver shorthaired, a little stand-offish but sometimes wants to be in your lap for an hour or two. he will also sleep on top of you and keep you warm. he has a very high-pitched meow, and makes a big deal about mealtime. he likes to nap with his head on a microphone stand.
both cats are neutered, and come with their own carriers and cat-boxes. i thought i would ask ya'll on the electrical board before i went to other places, i know there are some cat-folks on here. if anyone is interested, please email me at jetsilhouette@yahoo.com.au. my only requirements are that you a) live near chicago or st. louis, and b) are not psycho and will be a good cat-owner.
thanks, and vy73's, jet.
who in chicago needs a fantastic cat?
2dear jet,
if i lived a little closer, i would take both of your kitties for you. non and i already share a bond because we've slept together twice on your couch. veleno i don't know as well, i think he's a bit standoffish.
if you can't find a home let me know. i'll be out there again in a few months.
xo,

3The cats are already accustomed to good music.........Wish my cats didn't hate every other animal on the planet

5I'm asking some of my feline-inclined Chicagoan friends on your behalf. I would normally take both of them except I am poised to shoot down to Baton Rouge within the next month or so and don't want to involve an animal or animals in that fiasco.

6I think the best solution is to break off the engagement. The cats were there first afterall, and unlike a man, they will love you unconditionally.
it's not the length, it's the gersch

7well, to remark upon el protoolio's comment, the little secret here is that i am not getting rid of ALL my cats--i am keeping the one with the thumbs. there is no way i could part with that one, she's just about as cute as pip (and pip is cute enough to name a record for). i am taking extreme pain-in-the-ass measures to ensure that everyone can co-exist, but with three cats, it is just too difficult. there is too much cat hair everywhere. it is too bad.
and also, i would argue that cats don't really possess the capacity for giving unconditional love...rather, they unconditionally desire you to go fuck yourself while they eat all the food.
thanks, and vy73s,
