I haven't been paying too much attention, but I think the combined age of the San Francisco Giants' starting outfielders is still hovering around 900.

They will be tough to top, in terms of defense anyway.

I only started following baseball three or four years ago.

Mark Prior is pitching in Doube A and Kerry Wood may be activated soon after going on the Disabled List, which follows a short, precious stint on the Abled List! Holy shit! There may be a time when they both pitch this summer! Maybe somebody will write a book someday about the great Summer of '06, that magical year in which Wood had a real MLB start, then Prior had a real MLB start, then Wood had one after that, then Prior almost had one!

The history! The pageantry! That incredible week that may or may not happen!

If airlines handled luggage the way the Cubs handle young pitching talent, we'd all be up at night worried about who has our bondage kits.

Kerry Wood is a drunk...

Prior is a coward...

...and both of them are extra-ordinarily fragile.

CRAP, with the exception of Kerry Wood's performance in that Atlanta series.
