I dont have a fear of pickles, but I cannot bring myself to eat their seeds. As a result, I have to use a knife to cut out the gooey seedy area. For the same reason, I have a hard time eating raw tomatoes, squash, cooked green beans, etc. I am not afraid, because that would make me look weak. No sir, I just prefer not to eat them. Baby gherkins, though. They are just right because the seeds are tiny and unnoticeable. It is a texture issue. Apparently I have problems.

I am not a great fan of pickles, but I would like to be friends with someone who has a phobia of them, it must be extremely amusing. I have never been able to fathom why chip shops have big jars of pickled eggs on the counter. It seems like such a strange item to add to a bag of fish and chips. A vinegary egg.
