I found myself in the Chicago Ridge mall the other day, followed a woman friend of mine into the gap. What's playing in the store? The new Cat Power record. Didn't sound out of place one bit.
Hearing it in that context made me realize just how bad it sucks.

funny how i saw her back in 96 or something and she appeared to have no stage fright whatsoever.

then i saw her again and supposedly she blew some dude off in the dressing room between the end of the set and the start of the encore.

Dear Sir/ Myra Lee, what would the community think, and moon pix are absolutely great.

You Are Free, is hit and miss, still with a few great songs.

I listen to The Greatest a couple of times, and it just couldn't persevere against the bland session muso cack. I was really disappointed...

I have to admit I'm very jealous of this, she's supposed to be only 24 in this

I've not see her live, even thought she played (literally) round the corner from here a couple of years ago...

EDIT:Not crap, a few waffles though, since she's become a cruiseship entertainer.

She has some very seductive music and melodies. I admit I was somewhat taken with that tune "Crossbones Style" with its simple fourths ands fifths harmonies and starkness and obscure lyrics......but like most girls who try to rock and roll with the boys but yet retain some femininity, she'll just end up as a footnote.....I predict.
