we played with them a few years ago, nice guys, the bass player (i lose his name) asked us if he can play on our bass amp because he broke his own amp just the gig before (that what he said but maybe he just want to play on our MESA 400W...)....nice show, nice guys, not crap!!

Try as I might, I simply cannot understand what the fuss is about. They seem like a 100% bog-standard pop-punk band.

I'd take Group Dogdrill over these chaps, and that's saying something.

What am I missing here?

I listened to a bit of my bandmates "Mcluskyism"(sp?) on his ipod the other day.

Did they remix/remaster some of the songs from the first record for this? Sounded like it. Personally, although the first record's sonic-value is decidedly low, I really dig it.

I'm a big fan of Falkous' lyrics (I could be wrong on these.......I've never looked):

"keep your kelly clean, my love"
"halfway up the stairs is a good mouse"

the bit about the "number one fruit seller........"

So meaningless it becomes almost biblical in it's "global meaning". NC!

i can't even begin to understand this statement. That's like saying AC/DC is a bog-standard klezmer band.

Well, I listened to the most recent record and I'm happy to partially eat my words...or eat all of some of my words, whichever.

The last record seems pretty good, albeit very far from mind-blowing.

A grudging NOT CRAP.

I agree about it not being mind blowing... however "Do Dallas" is mind-blowing, especially after the 3rd or fourth listen!
