+1. This band is false CRAP. They make me want to burn down churches. If I had the opportuity to erase this band from existence, I'd do it in a second. They have spawned so much crap, and their records weren't that good in the first place.

i really never understood the hate that rivers gets for his songs on this board and elsewhere.

im not the biggest weezer fan in the world but he writes some good pop songs.

the consensus seems to be that he writes the same ones over and over...i dont really get that whole thing. the lyrics are usually asinine, ill give you that. but, pop music by definition is repetetive and similar.

what makes his songs so detestable to you?

i like most of pinkerton, some of the blue album and bits and pieces of everything else.
