yeah, they did ten dates opening for bush in huge places, the bush guys worshiped the jesus lizard==their audience was a little confused

I got to see a handful of shows, but my favorite was at Stache's in Columbus. Somehow, I wound up sitting on Duane's monitor for the whole show, and somehow, Yow made no attempts to grab my balls. I know it's kinda goofy sounding, but getting to sit onstage within grabbing distance of one of my favorite bands in the world is something I'll never forget.

when i saw the ex i was right up front within grabbing distance. same goes for the blue explosion. and shellac. and pretty much everytime i saw fugazi.

to be fair though, when i first saw the ex, it was also my first time hearing them.

i had no idea how much that show would mean to me when i bought the tickets.
