And again, though we are the "Odd Couple", I agree with zom. IOMMI.

I saw the Dio-fronted Sab on the Black and Blue tour with Blue Oyster Cult in 1980 or 1981. That night was as close to a religious experience as I can remember.

I've seen some Ozzy videos, and although I think he's alright, Dio is operatic.

And that Vanilla Fudge video is pretty outstanding.

neat. Essex Green were kinda cunty and a mediocre band. It was awesome when they asked to use our bass amp, and neither Bloodthirsty Lovers or DA has bassists. Sorry dudes, you should bring your own gear when you tour. their drummer was a class act, though.

Bloodthirsty Lovers were way good, however. I have a weakness for Dave Shouse's music pretty much straight across the board.
kerble is right.

yeah, grifters were a terrific unsung bad, great records, amazing live shows, bloodthirsty lovers were also very good--saw some great shows by both bands at the bottle--saw the dio fronted sabbath a few times, the first at the chicago amphitheatre in 80, right after heaven and hell came out, not sure what the reunion will be like, probably be pretty good, mob rules by the same lineup is also worth getting--saw king kobra open for kiss in 85 at the hammond civic center--kobra was pretty bad, kiss were fun as always--anyone see dave shouse's opening set for the hold steady on new years eve at the chicago house of blues?
