2Shouldn't developing children just be fed whatever is most beneficial to their growth, vegan or not?

3My wife and I gave up on veganism when we had our son (we'd been vegans for a couple of years, and we're still vegetarians). We agree that it can be a very healthful way to raise a child, but we also worried about putting our son in the position where he wouldn't be allowed to, for example, have cake at a school party. It's a lot of pressure to put on little kids, even if some of those kids thrive in a vegan household.
That, and real, honest-to-god pizza sounded really fucking good. In fifteen years, I've never once craved meat, but I couldn't kill the craving for cheese.
We still largely consume soy products over dairy products, and we're careful about purchasing ethically obtained milk and eggs.

4I finally got this video to work. As long as the kid is healthy, it doesn't matter whether they're vegan or not.

Perhaps, at some point, vegans could make a better claim re: the healthfulness of the diet, but the number of vegan junk food products to have emerged the past few years pretty much negates that argument.

As long as people know it's junk, there shouldn't be a problem. It is healthier, but kids should be able to choose what they eat before they're 10. Within limits, of course.

7veganism is tough. i don't know how you people do it. i applaud you, but i could never be that rigorous about understanding and checking what i eat. until two nights ago i didn't know that guacamole has sour cream and milk in it. in that case, what do you put on your veggie taco?

8look how hollow and pasty they all look.
They all look sick to me, the 9 year old girl who goes kooky at the end looks and acts like she has some kind of radiation sickness.
that chick with the headband is a fucking lard ass and she is the only one with a regular pink human complexion, vegan my ass...she's hitting taco bell when her pussy vegan boyfriend is at work I assure you
The one chick won't let her kid have a fucking cupcake at a birthday party, what kind of horseshit are these people into?
'No you can't have a fucking cupcake like everyone else, we have to make a big show of our stupid bullshit and everyone will think you are weird and it'll be real hard to make friends but that's ok because I have decided that you must live this way and it makes me satisfied to get so much attention'

9I am the don't know at this point. I think it could be done if you had the time, and made a dead serious effort. I am already a rotten vegetarian. I figure I would be an incredibly unhealthy vegan. Kids are the ones who need large amounts of protein, and meat is a very efficient way to get it to them.

10These parents take the "title" of veganism too far. It seems like they would rather let their kids suffer than letting them have a cupcake. Eating one cupcake while in school doesn't negate being a vegan.
