What products-companies-stores do you " boycott" ?

Movie theaters, when possible. I worked for one for 5 or so years, and getting free movies for that long of a time spoiled me. Most of the box take goes directly to the studios anyway to pay of the Kirsten Dunsts. You've got to buy concessions to keep the theaters afloat. $3 for a Coke? Bullshit. I'd rather just wait and rent for $4 or wait for it on cable.

I'm sure there'll be more as they come to me.
Our band.

Strauss.

I try to stay away from Tyson chicken because of how they treat their chickens, and Iams pet foods because of their apparently fucked-up animal testing procedures.

This doesn't mean i manage to avoid other products that do the same thing, but i feel like i'm trying.

I also avoid a local art/music "collective" building because it's run by a deranged cult leader psychopath. We turn down every offer we have to play a show there.

I don't shop there because they sell all the same shit I have cluttering up my attic, for 20-50 times what it would cost at Goodwill.

Oh, and White Castle. Dunno why, but I fucking hate White Castle.

...And Sony. Sony can suck my balls.

Get White Castle off your list, brah. White Castle is a model for how every large-scale business entity should behave in the marketplace, and WC's products are stellar. I am suddenly craving Fish Nibblers.
