Power's out in NYC? Again?

The powers that be are fucking you over...and I don't mean nature...

power's back on

Power's already back on in a lot of places.

Fortunately, it didn't affect the F train, so I still have an alternate route home. But the subways are going to be jam packed.

Where did the power go out? I heard "East Side Manhattan, Bronx" but got no details.

All I can say is this: if I lose power again this summer, I am storming Con Ed (which is the next street over from me) with torches and pitchforks. I am not fucking kidding.

Here's a tip for you guys, in case you lose power for 12 days like I did last summer. Keep all of your grocery receipts, so you can prove to Con Ed that you did indeed lose $350 worth of food from your fridge/freezer.

Some asshole plowed into my car. I don't know if it's related to the power outage or not, but he can eat the corn out of my shit regardless.

Now I have to figure out if I want to fix a $1000 car. I guess there are worse problems, and it's part of the reason I drive a $1000 car.
