its funny, in England there have been two singles released off the record and videos made for them. I had heard that Capt Albini had done this record and so when I heard the singles I was pretty surprised....Pantera Kicks and delayed vocals and all that... But as it turns out some other guy did the singles. What the fuck?
Saw them live and was painfully disappointed...and it all started to make alot more sense.

I was fairly underwhelmed by the Milo. They have absolutely no use for that extra guitar player, their sound is noisy enough as is. Mclusky just made them looks like fools.

My friend liked their set (he might've been a little tired) and decided to buy their CD. This is the guy who gives me crap non-stop about buying shitty opening band's CD's (sometimes before I hear them), so I had to give him just a little hell for it.

yeah i caught this band opening for mclusky a few months ago, too. they had a few interesting bits every now and then, but got boring pretty quickly: certainly mclusky were much better. i can't understand, though, how a band with three guitars could make such a little amount of noise compared to a band with one.

I saw YCNIM in Edinburgh and thought they were rockin. Their album is great too. Its interesting comparing the tracks that Albini did with the tracks recorded in Britain. The Albini ones kick the arse out the ones recorded here. Especially the drums. The British ones just sound dead.
