I don't know if this is all over the news yet, but a huge bridge over a major highway in downtown Minneapolis collapsed. So many sketchy reports but it was bumper-to-bumper traffic in rush hour.

I, and many other people I know drive over this bridge several times a week, it has been under contsruction. Very bad thing.

now how the hell am i going to get to the mall when i come to visit next week??

We will fly in my helicopter. PM me, bring condoms.

Mrs the c had just driven over the bridge just before it collapsed coming home from work.

There were 60 kids in school bus on the bridge who all survived

Wow. That's awful.

I have a fair amount of friends in the Twin Cities... I sure hope they're all okay. Will make some phonecalls to make sure.

It's crazy because only 3 people are dead, right?
I hesitate to say "only," but people have been saying it was rush hour, so that seems like a lucky break.
I'm sure many are hurt.

There has been a lot in the news, lately, about the crumbling infrastructure in the US. A guy just released a book on it last month.
Then this happens.

Apparently hundreds of billions need to spent pronto to prevent more things like this from happening.
Of course people will just bitch about the taxes.
