Still using the same Gateway I've had since 2002. I maxed the memory, installed DVD player and installed two aftermarket hard drives. It's served me well with only a handful of crashes over it's lifetime and it handles the Adobe CS2 products I use for my freelance work.

It's nearing time for me to update my system. I keep holding off because I don't really need to yet...just want to.

badass indeed, mine's similar but only 4GB of RAM.

it's a really simple process - took maybe 10 minutes. i mean, it's a drag to lose 2 of the 4 internal drives to backup, but having realtime backup is really a comfort. here's the tutorial that i used: RAID!
