Same state, different cities.

Technically, but the same metro area, like the Giants and A's.

And I think MSG and Nassau Coliseum might be closer to each other than Wrigley Field and Comiskey Park.

yeah but what crazed manhattanite is going to root for the islanders, unless he grew up out in friggin' suffolk or nassau?

it's at least an hour out side the city to nassau.

east rutherford is closer...you know where the NJ Giants and NJ Jets play.

If I prayed, I guess I'd pray for the Mets to win a 16 inning one game playoff to determine the NL East winner. That would be cool.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the part of town comes into play as well. Correct me, Chicagoans, but I'm of the impression that Sox fans are mostly South Siders.

According to Mapquest:

MSG->Nassau Coliseum 27.54 miles

Wrigley Field->Comiskey Park 9.89 miles. Okay, I guessed wrong.

EDIT: Oh, it's U.S. Cellular Field now. That's how much I been paying attention to the based-ball lately.

I'm a Met fan. I root for the Yankees most of the time (when they're not playing the Mets, of course). I know plenty of other Met fans that feel the same. However, i know many Yankee fans that feel offended whenever somebody has a different favorite team.
The rest of our post, I agree with.
What the fuck is happening to my team? Seriously. In a lifetime of disappointment, this is up there. I knod of wish that they'd lose now. They fucking deserve it, blowing a lead like they had. *throws Mets hat in the corner* Fuck baseball, man.
What are the queers doing to the soil?

Depends on the reliever.

If I were you, I'd pray that Peter Angelos gets terminal cancer and the O's get above .500 sometime in the next decade. Seems the former is more likely than the latter.
