cheese and meats
scotch, wine, and beer
albums by bands you enjoy (don't download them for free)
pre-amps
pants
socks
breifs
couches and beds (as you spend a lot of time on these usually)
I now move into the realm of TVs as I watch about 3 or 4 films a week and have discovered the Bravia.
Things you splurge on
32Food, but I don't have a kitchen where I live
Beer, Stella or Belgian ale type stuff
Instruments, anything and everything, if I have the money available at the time, I'll buy it
Collectable vinyl that I never get around to listening to, saving it for retirement I guess

33Can't say I splurge on anything really.
I'm not trying to be high and mighty, I've just always been a cheapskate.
This is not always a good quality to have.
I am probably doing my fair share of killing off mom and pop stores whilst constantly looking for the cheapest price I can buy something for.
Plus my inability to shell out more than a couple of hundred on musical equipment means I will nearly always be stuck with second rate gear. But I just can't bring myself to spend $1,000 bucks on a guitar (even though I'm fully aware of the superior quality of the more expensive instrument)
I just don't like spending money that much. It's gotten so bad that I'll eat a sandwich or frozen dinner from home before going out with friends to lunch.

34I'm happy to spend my money on:
Good food, esp. cheeses, olives, bagels
Fine wine
Exceptionally good beer
Records
Musical Equipment
Fun
Everything else I'm tight as fuck about.

35Food and clothes, although the baby makes us more frugal when it comes to clothing.
It was rather alarming to me when I realized that I looked much better in nice, well-fitting clothes.

Nah, it's really in there. My girlfriend worked on a documentary about farms in Ohio, and learned a lot of things. Now I only eat organic.
Also, pre-mixed chocolate milk has blood in it.

I heard the same thing and it scared me off the stuff for a while. Snopes says false though. Now I avoid it because of allergies.
