Here:

Charlie Watts (Stones)
Elvin Jones (Trane)
John Bonham (Zep)
Rey Washam (Scratch Acid/etc.)
Al Foster ('70's Miles, specifically Get Up With It)
John "Drumbo" French (Beefheart)
Clyde Stubblefield (JB)
John "Jabo" Starks (JB)
Jaki Leibezeit (Can)
Phil Calvert (Birthday Party)
Al Jackson (Al Green/others)
Scott "Rock Action" Asheton (Stooges)
Keith Moon (Who)
Bill Bruford (Yes/King Crimson)
Ziggy Modeliste (Meters)
Grant Hart (Husker Du)
George Hurley (Minutemen)
Jonathan Kane (Swans)

and that's all I can think of, really. There are others I had but this list is long enough already.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

The thing about it is...a player gets to a certain level technically, and then it becomes about his style, his persona bag of tricks, what he does that other drummers don't do, his tatse, etc...

That being said, though, I do think Steve Shelley is underrated as a drummer.
You call me a hater like that's a bad thing
