She wanted help finding her shoes, I declined.
I don't know if she did, I had a reverse boner and got out of there soon.
Pictures unfortunately are still in my mind.

72Yes and yes.burun wrote:bigc wrote:I saw them at a sort of strip club, hag-burlesque bar in Atlanta called The Clermont Lounge. They were pretty good, but the sound was very bad...not quite as rocking as I'd hoped, htough that could also be blamed on the odd venue.
Was Blondie there?
Did she do her special dance?

My wife has one I can sell you. She'll never miss it.
Heh. I may send you a PM in the future. I have a feeling I know the culprit, so if I can't shake him down...
When I lived in Atlanta, there was an ongoing joke about playing a show at the Clermont Lounge. As far as I know it is a local commodity. Just a dingy shitty fucking place that puts on terrible shows and events and is really just a spot for gross and cheap hole. Shellac playing there for some reason seems really really funny.
David Cross wears a Clermont Lounge shirts numerous times in RunRonnieRun.
But at least Shellac is in good company. Marilyn Manson and Kid Rock, plus the Daily Show with Jon Stewart say YEAH! And now you can be their friend too.

76All I have is At Action Park, and it's okay. I know it's not music that is really meant to grab you and smack you to pieces in the traditional sense, but I have found it hard to get into and I really don't know why. "My Black Ass" and "Wingwalker" are fucking amazing, however.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

78Just ordered At Action Park on vinyl yesterday. I figured it was about time since It took me forever to find it off a website that wasn't ebay.
Great band. One of my favorites. Not Crap in the slightest.

79Saw 'em at the Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney in 1994 (1995?) with Midget as support. Midget were good, but ear-bleedingly loud. Shellac got up after them and showed them that mastery of dynamics kills the need for painful volume. I'll never forget Doris...............

80Speaking of old Shellac shows, anyone remember what the Wipers song they played at the Embassy Rooms, London in '99 was?
