It think it's a great show. Loved the episode where "Buzzard" was obviously a huge part of an entire restaurant going under. I remember being really pissed at the entitlement syndrome the staff had. For fuck sake, this is Gordon Ramsey in yer fucking house, and you serve reconstituted mash?

My gf was equally appalled.

[as an aside, I've been gun-shy about the AE spellcheck since it allowed me to spell 'decency' d-e-c-e-n-t-c-y. I have a spelling block (restaurant).]

yeah! that ruled!!! good one... buzzard cracked me up but i felt a little bad for him... the whole concept of "head chef" on most of these episodes just cracks me up as well. although ricky kinda pulled it together in the end there. lela (the owner) just creeped me out for some reason.

Buzzard should have been fired a long time ago.

I've worked in quite a few restaurants, and not a single one of them would have tolerated an idiot like the "Executive Chef" or any one of those incompetent jackasses for more than one day. I kept wondering if it was real. The owner, why did she even have a restaurant?

Why would you feel sorry for Buzzard?

Gordon Ramsey is in the kitchen, yet he has the nerve to steal a few meals and three bottles of wine? And then when he's caught, he gives Gordon some bullshit.

How can you feel anything but contempt for this guy?

well i mean the guy had been getting away with it for awhile, and everyone knew about it while nobody minded. granted, i've worked in fine dining for years now and although i've seen dudes leave with some shit i've never seen anyone leave with bottles of wine after every service, but still! poor buzzard... i think ramsay could have been more gentle with his approach. but then i guess he wouldn't be gordon ramsay.... whom i love!!!

i'm always happy for that part of the episode when he's shirtless and changing into his chef coat.
