20I'm reluctant to go with such a staggeringly obvious choice but on reflection it probably is The Simpsons. As a friend is fond of saying, there is a sphere 18 light years across, slowly moving into the dark space of the universe that will tell you everything you need to know about the human species.
Another obvious choice and my personal favourite would be Brass Eye, I don't think anything will ever come close to making me almost sick with laughter while simultaneously gutting and exposing the mendacity of TV journalism, not to mention permanently bending my vocabulary out of shape.
I never tire of watching CYE and, from a gentler age, I still have a soft spot for Porridge.
